Stephanie Kwolek was a pioneer - as a woman and as an inventor. She left behind a name and a legacy that won't be quickly forgotten, especially among those whose lives she touched. The works has lost an amazing woman, but her legacy makes the words penned by a wise man, ring true: "A good name is better than precious oil; and the day of death, than the day of one's birth."

God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered “come to me.” With tearful eyes, we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard-working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us; He only takes the best.
