Theodore E. Keller

Theodore E. Keller, age 92, of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away peacefully Sunday evening, April 14, 2013.

Ted was born in 1920 in Dover, Delaware. He served in the Army during WWII, stationed in Europe. He was a long-time resident of Wilmington, where he worked for the DuPont Company as an art director.

He was politically active, working locally and nationally. Ted founded Citizens Coalition for Tax Reform, an organization that fought tax injustice. He was a force in preventing a Delaware sales tax. Ted was concerned that every person had basic rights, including affordable health care.

Ted was predeceased by his loving wife, Georgia, as well as eight brothers and sisters. He is survived by his children, Arnold Keller, wife Charlotte, of FL; Lyn Keller Apicella, husband Greg, of NJ; Carol Keller of MA; five grandchildren, Christopher Keller, Jennifer Keller Reilly, Alexander Apicella, Christian Apicella, and Daniel Keller Franc; and many nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 20, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Concordia Lutheran Church, 3003 Silverside Road, Wilmington, DE. There will be a private burial.
