departed this life peacefully surrounded by his loving family on January 4, 2013. He was born January 14, 1932 in Cramerton, NC. Son of the late John and Annie May Warren.
He retired from Laborer Union Local 199 and a member of the Church of the Living Word in Wilmington, De. He enjoyed his life with family and friends and always greeted everyone with a smile. Preceded in death by a daughter, Willa Ray and a grandson Eugene Warren, he is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Mildred Warren. Also left to cherish his memory is daughters, Doreen Roberson (Mitchell), Pamela Lazarus (Danny), Rose Warren, Shayne Lewis( Ronald), son Kevin Warren and Eugene Hanks (Debbie). He is also survived by two loving nephews, Victor Warren and Rayfield Warren and a close friend James Whittington. He has 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends. He will be dearly missed. The family want to extend a special thank you to the staff of St. Francis ICU unit, especially Nurses Curtissa and Nurse MacDonald for their professionalism and kindness toward our family.
Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 11:00 am at Church of the Living Word 816 S. Heald St. Wilm.,DE; Viewing 9:00am to 11:00am.
