Bangalore Lakshman Obituary
AGE: 82 •
Dr. Bangalore T. Lakshman, Hon'ble Founder and Chairman of the BTL Foundation (USA) and BTL Educational Trust (INDIA) departed for his heavenly abode on Friday, Sep 16, 2016. Mr. Lakshman was 82 years old and is survived by his wife Mrs. Suvarna Lakshman and daughter Ms. Apoorva Lakshman.
Based on the philosophy that everyone has some resources and time to spare for others, Laks, as he likes to be called, created the BTL Foundation for International Services in 1980 as a way to provide health, job-oriented education and humanitarian services to those in need.
Laks believed that "Service to the needy is Service to God" and as we pay our homage to him we resolve to continue his humanitarian efforts.
A Memorial service will be held in Oct/Nov in his honor.

Church Resolution in Honor of
Bangalore T. Lakshman
We the members of Christ Servants Mission/Power 4U- Community Services,
Would like to extend our hearts in compassion to the family of Bangalore T. Lakshman
WHEREAS, God, in his wise providence has seen proper to take our beloved Founder and Chairman of the BTL Foundation, Bangalore T. Lakshman. Unto him. In Psalm 91, it states, Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Although his stay with us was of short duration, his general association with all mankind was of strong noble character.
WHEREAS, we are encouraged and consoled knowing that God controls both the storms of nature and the storms of a troubled heart. He quiets the storm giving us confidence that He is our strength and His righteousness brings us peace. God do all things well.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, in humble submission, during this time of bereavement, we shall assist in meeting the emotional needs of those persons in distress through the continuance of our prayers.
