Marc Wilson Obituary
Age 47, of Newark, DE passed away on December 3, 2011, at University of MD Medical Center.
Marc was born on May 19, 1964 in Wilmington, DE. He graduated from Glasgow High School in 1983. He was chef at "The Hunter's Den" and "Mary's Country Kitchen". Marc enjoyed riding his Honda Shadow, white water rafting and spending time with his family. He was a very giving person; always wanting to help those less fortunate. Marc will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his parents, Beverly A. Wilson and Matthew Wilson Sr. of Newark, DE; grandmother, Dorothy Chere; sons, Daniel Roy Wilson of Monmouth, NJ, Jarod Connor Wilson of Newark, DE and Gabriel Tanner Wilson of Newark, DE; brothers, Matthew Wilson Jr. of Rising Sun, MD and Kevin Scott Wilson, Sr. and wife Mary of Middletown, DE; his companion and "love of his life", Shelly Frazer and daughters, Chelsey and Samantha; nephews, Kevin Jr., Bryan, Matthew, Scott and Chad Wilson; niece, Alicia Kennedy and his beloved dogs, Sweet Pea and Tootsie.
Services will be held at 7:30 pm, on Wednesday, December 7, at R.T. Foard & Jones Funeral Home, 122 West Main Street, Newark, DE 19711 where friends may call one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kingswood United Methodist Church for food and Christmas gifts for children in need c/o the funeral home.

My deepest condolences to Gabe and Chelsea and your families. You are in my thoughts and prayers... I had only known Marc for a short time speaking to him mostly at our baseball games. He was a descent guy that I will surely miss.

Dear Shelly, We were all saddened to hear of your loss. I'm sending you this note on behalf of the scooter "boys" that annoy you every Tuesday. After reading Marc's obituary about you being "the love of his life" I could understand the saying, "only the good die young". How sad for you. Time is a great healer and with it's passing and the knowledge that Marc's suffering has ended we all hope and pray you will feel better. As ever, Fried egg sandwich on white toast (Marvin)

I've stared at this for two days now
Not knowing what to say,
Remembering how Marc was there for me
That night and the next pivotal day.
My life was changed forever
Because he stopped and took the time,
To listen, talk, and understand
And just be so very kind.
I wish I could have done the same for him
Just comfort him and help him see,
But now the heavens have called his name
And my brother has been set free.

Marc was just the most amazing guy I ever met or worked with, can not believe he is gone, not a nicer guy did God put on earth. Marc so loved Daniel, I admired his dedication to being a Daddy and The Hunter's Den would not have been as wonderful without Marc. God bless the Wilson family may Marc's footprints be on all your hearts.

Beverly, Matt & Family..so sorry to hear of Marc's passing. He was a hard working man & a devoted Father and son. Having known him as our neighbor for many years, our paperboy when he was young & my client in his adult life, we know he had a good heart. He will truly be missed.
