May the good lord bless the Wingate family. Jim and I were good friends back in the day. We shared the lunch table every day. I was in a high school fraternity, Jim was a associate member when played football against out of town chapters. Jim was not really a member of the frat. But he was come game time.

Jim was like the bigger brother I never had. We spent a lot of time together during and after school. After high school every one went in different directions. I missed him through out the years. He was a great friend.

Jim was a great teammate at Mount Pleasant and I always considered him to be a good friend and buddy in HS. We lost touch over the years, but I will always remember him as a caring ' Gentle Giant 'with that easy smile that usually was present on his face.

RIP to my old friend.

I still can't believe your gone but I know that your in a better place. You where like a father to me and you treated me like your son. It was just the other day we where joking around with each other. If I knew I would't see you again I would have said good bye and I love you. I will miss you deeply.
