Brandon departed this life May 19, 2016. Son of Brad Wingo and Tiffany Benson; brother of Donnasia Banks, Myi'Jah Benson, Charity Purnell, Shawn Garrett and Dametrius Benson; grandson of Terry L. and Sharon Wingo, Deborah Benson and Michael Wilson; a host of other relatives and friends. There will be a public viewing on Thurs., May 26th at Congo Funeral Home, 2317 N. Market St., Wilm, DE from 5PM-7PM. Funeral 11AM, Fri., May 27th at Christ Our King Catholic Church, 2810 N. Monroe St., Wilm, DE 19802; viewing 9-10:45am only. Burial, Gracelawn Memorial Park.

Though I did not know Brandon or his family, as a mother I can not imagine the pain you all are going through. This is a true tragedy that has hit the heart heavy wondering why or how can someone take such a precious life of a child. I send my deepest sympathy and condolences to the family and friends of Brandon. I do not know Brandon nor anyone in the family, but his story has really touched my heart. I pray that God wrap his loving arms around you all and provide comfort to you all in such a tragic and trying time. So sorry for such a loss. 15 years old and robbed of such a promising life. May Brandon now fly high with our heavenly father. Jesus be a fence.

I do not know Brandon or anyone in your family; but his death has really touched my heart! I have two boys, 23 & 29 and I remember their days of 15, playing basketball and other sports and walking around the neighborhood! I can't imagine the pain you & your family are going through! I just wanted you to know I'm praying for you all & to say Brandon is now safe in the arms of our Savior! God Bless and be with you all!!

Brad , Tiffany and the entire Benson and Wingo families-
I am truly so sorry for your loss. I know it is hard not to question God in a time like this but please look to him for your strength, I have found it's the only thing that can get you through this nightmare.
Brandon is with him and every day here on earth is one day closer to him in heaven.
Know that he is with all of you every second of every day.
Speak his name often to keep his spirit alive.
