Donald Conklin Obituary
Age 88, resident of Jenner's Pond Retirement Community, West Grove, PA, passed away May 19, 2011, at Jennersville Regional Hospital.
After 37 years of employment with DuPont, he and his wife enjoyed resort living in SC for 15 years then relocated to be near their children.
Don is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Jean Stanhope and their children, Gail Crawford, Roger Conklin and Patricia Ihde, in addition a granddaughter and great-grandson. He is also survived by his sister, Janet Kireker, but predeceased by brother, William Allen Conklin. Visitation to be held from 10-11 am, on Friday, May 27, followed by Memorial Service at 11 am at Avondale Presbyterian Church, where Don was an active member. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jenner's Pond Benevolent Care Fund, 2000 Greenbriar Lane, West Grove, PA 19390.
