Keith Meckley Obituary
Age 53, of Havertown, PA, died on Wednesday, October 24, 2012, in his home. He was born in Wilmington, DE, and attended Brandywine High School, Widener University and Delaware County Community College.
Keith was an awesome nurse and a beloved co-worker at Methodist and Delaware County Memorial Hospitals. Most of his working career was in sales, but more recently he found his true calling as an O.R. nurse.
He is survived by his endearing wife, Cindy; his loving children, Ryan and Kaitlyn; his parents, Janet and Fred; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Steve McSweeney, Susan and Skeet Small, Joan and Sean; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Keith enjoyed and loved his surf fishing license, where he drove his truck and set up camp on Cape Henlopen State Park, DE. This is where Keith, Cindy, Ryan, Kate and their dog Pete found their true Nirvana.
Visitation will be held at Bringhurst Funeral Home at West Laurel Hill Cemetery, 225 Belmont Avenue, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004, Monday, October 29, from 2-3:30 pm with the funeral service immediately following.

Keith was special he was always ready to lend a helping hand.He enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. Gone to soon but will be forever in our hearts! Cindy and her family are devasted by his sudden loss.May God Bless them and help them day by day

Keith was an amazing nurse, and always happy. he made work fun and easy, He taught me that there is no reason is worry when things got crazy in the OR. I have lots to thank him for and he will be missed greatly. My deepest sympathies to the Meckley family. I how how much family ment to him and how much he loves you all.

I worked with Keith at Dupont CC many years ago. He was a great guy. Always knew he would make a great husband and dad... Peace to your family.

Keith truly loved life...working along side Keith at Methodist OR...he always talked about his wife and children. His enthusiasm as a nurse will never be forgotten. We will remember him and miss him. Methodist OR staff.

My Deepest Sympathies to the Meckley Family. Keith was a great friend from High School and I always looked forward to being with him. We shared a lot of wonderful memories and I am deeply sadend by his passing. I'll miss him and look forward to seeing him in Heaven one of these days. To Keith's family, we were close friends in high school and haven't keep in touch. But, I am so saddened by this news. He was always such a happy, caring person, and I am sure he was wonderful to his family and his patients.
