Steven John Zugnoni (1966 - 2013)

Obituary

Age 47, born April 30,1966 in Lincoln, CA was taken from us on July 8, 2013 caused by a rare disease CJD.
Steve is survived by his loving wife of 22 years Heather Lynn Zugnoni (Moore), son Anthony Zugnoni and daughter Ashley Zugnoni. His family of Lincoln, CA include parents John and Marie (LaRusso) Zugnoni, sister Lori (Zugnoni) and husband Clive Anderson, sister Johna Zugnoni, nephews Michael and Nicholas Sanbeck.
Steve served in the US Navy aboard the USS Constellation CV 64 during the Gulf War 1988-92. He then served a short time in the Army National Guard. He was a hard worker as an industrial Master Mechanic and belonged to the United Steel Workers Local #8936 and worked for IKO Industries. He was always going to school and has multiple certificates. One certificate he loved receiving was his forest firefighting. He loved working in the forests of CA. He then became a firefighter in the Navy.
His favorite past time besides his children and dogs was fishing with his dad and his friends Bo Usher, Joey Parker and Mike Hopper.
Please join us for a celebration of Life Memorial Service on Saturday July 20 at the New Castle Moose Lodge #1578 located on Rt.13 from 1-5. He then will be taken to CA where he will be layed to rest in his home town at a later time.
