Brian G. Taylor

Brian Gregory Taylor, aged 29 of Bear Delaware passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 15th at home. Brian graduated from Glasgow High School in 2003 where he was a member of the Glasgow Dragons Drum Line. He attended college at the University of Delaware and Wilmington University.

Brian had worked at Chimes, an international, non-profit organization with a mission to enhance the lives of people with disabilities. Brian was well liked in his role as a job coach working with a group of "his men", as he lovingly referred to them, caring for their individual needs.

Brian is predeceased by his grandmother Elizabeth Lee Taylor of Swarthmore, PA: his grandfather Robert J. Bennett of Bridgeville, DE: and his cousin Matthew Clark of Greenwood, De.

Brian is survived by his mother, Donna Taylor Holefelder of Bear; father Gregory Taylor of Wallingford, PA ; and brother, Brandon Robert Taylor of Newark, DE. He is also survived by his grandmother Eleanor Hamstead Bennett of Bridgeville DE; Uncle Rodney James Bennett and wife Amanda, and their family (Mali, Jordan, Lauren) of Greenwood DE; Aunt and Uncle Arlene Elizabeth Taylor and Bruce Taylor both of Swarthmore, PA; Step-father Michael Holefelder; step-sisters Miranda and Erin; Step-mother Betsy Taylor; step brothers Douglas Campbell and Scott Campbell in nearby PA, and his beloved Corgis, Webster and Sunny.

He loved nature, music, the beach, his family, his friends, and his pets. Brian's passions included drumming, soccer, and photography.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 26th at 3:00 pm. Friends may call two hours prior at Beeson Funeral Home, 2053 Pulaski Highway, Newark, DE 19702. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Chimes Delaware at 514 Interchange Blvd, Newark, DE 19711.
