Dominga Lebron, age 94, of Wilmington, DE, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 19, 2012. Mrs. Lebron was an active member at St. Paul's Catholic Church. She was a member of the Cursillo, Charismatic Group and Legend of Mary. Mrs. Lebron volunteered her time as a foster grandparent at LACC. She is loved by her family and friends and will remain forever in their hearts.
Mrs. Lebron is survived by her son, Freddy Matos Jr. and wife Pilar; daughters: Carmen Franco and husband Juan, Ana Maria Sanchez, Martina Lebron, Obdulia J. Rivera; sister, Isabel Santiago; 19 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan L. Rivera; 5 brothers; 2 sisters; and parents, Jesus Santiago and Dionicia DeLeon.
The family would like to thank the staff at Heartland Hospice and Christiana Care Cardiac Unit for the care and kindness given to Mrs. Lebron and her family.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, November 23, 2012 in St. Paul's Catholic Church, 1010 West 4th Street, Wilmington, DE 19805 from 6pm-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, November 24th at 9:30am. Burial will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Paul's Catholic Church.
