Age 75 of Wilmington, DE, passed away on February 7, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Edmond was a Coast Guard veteran. He retired from Chrysler after 30 years. Edmond loved to play his guitar and was a volunteer crewmember of the U.S.C.G. Mohawk which was docked in Wilmington, DE. He enjoyed spending time with his friends at Newport Builders. Edmond's greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henri and Lucinda Villermaux, his brothers, James, Harry "Hap" and John Edward Villermaux . Edmond is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mildred E. Bromwell Villermaux, his children, Edmond F. Villermaux Jr. and his girlfriend, Darlene Cartwright, Jeanette Yost and her husband Joseph, Renee Rose, Michelle Robinson and her husband Paul, his loving brother and best friend, Robert "Bob" Villermaux and his wife Carole, his sister, Grace "Sis" Chapman and her husband Wayne, 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and his loving nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Tuesday, February 12, from 6-7 pm at the MCCRERY & HARRA FUNERAL HOME, 3710 Kirkwood Highway, Wilm., DE 19808 where a service will begin at 7 pm. Burial will be on Wednesday February 13 at 10 am at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.
The family would like to thank Dr. Francis Palermo, Dr. Gregory Adams, Heartland Hospice House, especially Stephanie, Desiree and Carla for the excellent care that they provided to Edmond in his final days.
