Gloria Frankfurt Obituary
Age 78, passed away on July 17, 2011, at Christiana Hospital surrounded by her family.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, Gloria was a graduate of P.S. DuPont High School and Temple University School of Dental Hygiene. She was a life time member of Hadassah. Her many hobbies included gourmet cooking, weaving and gardening. Gloria will best be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother and bubie to her husband, children and grandchildren and a devoted friend to many.
She was predeceased by her parents, John and Frances Maisel. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Jacob Frankfurt, her daughters, Mindy Frankfurt (Randy London), Shari Frankfurt and Robin Rosenbaum (Barry), her grandchildren, Jason and Lindsay, grand dogs Lily and Ember, her sister, Shirley Gurwitch (Harry) and her nieces, Lisa and Annabelle.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 19, at 12 noon at Schoenberg Memorial Chapel, 519 Philadelphia Pike, Wilmington, DE. Shiva will be observed at the late residence at 7 pm Tuesday - Thursday, July 19-21, 2011.
Contributions in memory of Gloria may be made to the Alzheimer's Assn, 240 N. St. James Street, Ste 100 A, Newport, DE 19804.

Jack, Marie-Paule and I just wrote you to express our immense sorrow at Gloria's death and our sympathy for how terrible it must have been for both of you in recent years, as disease gradually stripped her of her luminous identity. Mindy, Shari, Robin--we shall always remember what a wonderful person she was, and we hope that your memories of a loving and delightful mother will help you through your pain.
