Age, 80, of Seaford, DE and Vero Beach, FL, born Nov. 18, 1932, beloved wife and mother, and daughter of the late Amos and Rose Joseph, died on November 24, 2012, at Compassionate Care Hospice Center, in Wilmington, DE.
Jane is a graduate of Seaford High School, in Seaford DE, and was a Poultry Administrator for 30 years with O.A. Newton & Son, Swift & Co., and Perdue Farms, from which she retired as Administrative Assistant to Frank Perdue in 1987.
Jane loved to travel and camp in her RV, visiting most of the United States. She especially loved camping by the ocean. Jane enjoyed spending many winters in her Vero Beach, Florida home at Dodger-Pines Golf Course, where she attended all the Dodger Spring Training games with her husband and many friends.
She enjoyed the beauty of the Fall leaves while camping and hiking with her many friends in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Shenandoah National Park. She did many hikes and once climbed the summit of "Old Rag Mountain".
Jane was also an excellent cook who loved putting on delicious spreads for family and friends. But, Jane's true love was her family. Especially her loving husband of 62 years, William "Ducky" Waller; her son, Bill Waller and wife Cheryl, of Silver Spring, MD; her daughter, Bonnie Thomas and husband Tom, of Newark, DE; and her three grandchildren, Lauren Wilson and husband Bryan, of Middletown, DE; Amber Borgen of Rockville, MD; and Michael Thomas of Newark, DE.
She is also survived by two brothers, Ted Jospeh and wife Shirley, of Ellendale, DE; and James Joseph of Seaford, DE; and her sister-in-law, Doris Minton of Lewes, DE.
Jane will also be missed by some of the children she taught at the Saturday Morning Bible Class at the Lutheran Church, Seaford, DE , in the 1960's, and whom she remained in close contact with for nearly 50 years.
Jane is a member of St. John's Methodist Church in Seaford, DE, where she enjoyed ushering and greeting her many church friends.
Services for Jane will be held at St. John's Methodist Church, Pine and Poplar Streets, Seaford, DE on Friday, November 30, at 2 pm.
