Age 84 of Marcus Hook, PA died on November 30, 2012, at Riddle Memorial Hospital.

Born in a house on fourth street in Marcus Hook to the late Gove and Cecelia Pearson Wyatt, he was raised in Trainer, PA. Mr. Wyatt has since resided in the Marcus Hook area most of his life and worked on the Chester Ferry Boat training to be a pilot before it closed. He also worked For Pennsylvania Industrial Chemical Company in Chester and the for Wyeth Laboratories in West Chester. After his retirement, he worked for Brooks Armored Car Company and Fed EX.

His dream was to hit the lottery and travel to Padre Island in Texas and Search for treasure along the beaches with a metal detector. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren and also enjoyed passing time visiting the casinos in Atlantic City. He served in the Navy during WWII, serving in Okinawa onboard the NTS Bainbridge and the NTS Davisville with the 136th NCB. He was discharged in July 1946 as a Seaman First Class.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Joan Elvira Graham who died in 1995 and 5 siblings.

Survivors include three children, John Wyatt Jr., Ceil Samsel and husband Charles and Gove "Fats" Wyatt and wife Geralyn, grandchildren, Sean, Nicole (Scott), Charlene (Brad), John, Robert (Kristin), Chuck and Chad, great grandchildren, Spencer, Alyssa, Brennah and Laini.

Services, Friday, 11:00AM at the Moreland-Pagano Funeral Home, 825 Main St. Trainer, PA. Visitation, Friday, 10-11AM at the Moreland-Pagano Funeral Home, Trainer, PA. Interment in Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
