Paul David Hamilton, age 75, of Wilmington, DE, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 3, 2013. Mr. Hamilton worked for over 33 years as a carpenter with Union Local 626. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and visiting Delaware Park. His greatest accomplishment in life was being a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather to his family. He had no greater joy in life than loving his family.
Mr. Hamilton is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Carolyn Hamilton; sons, Bryon Brainard and wife, Linda, James Brainard and wife, Teresa, Keith Brainard and wife, Chrissy; daughters, Loren Squires and husband, Bill, Debra LeBeau and husband, Mark, Tabatha Gainery; sisters, Beatrice Lee and husband Walt, Eleanore Smith; 15 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Kenny Smith; and parents, Walter and Ruth Hamilton.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 in Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Road, Newark, DE 19702 from 10-11am followed by a service in celebration of Paul's life at 11am. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Delaware Hospice, 3515 Silverside Road, Ste. 100, Wilmington, DE 19810.
