Rose Biddle

AGE: 85 • Middletown

Rose Bell Biddle of Middletown, DE passed away at her home February 15, 2014. Rose was born in West Virginia to the late Onnie Lewis and Harold Honaker.

Rose moved to Middletown as a young lady where she met the love of her life George Biddle. Rose loved raising her children and being the support to her grandchildren at any time they needed her, she also enjoyed tending her vegetable garden and flowers. Rose had a very close relationship to many nieces and nephews and enjoyed weekly lunches with Phyllis Richardson and niece Lauren.

Rose was preceded in death by her late husband George L. Biddle, Sr., her son George L. Biddle, Jr., and daughter Kay Biddle.

Rose is survived by her daughter Beth Biddle Money and husband James Money of Middletown and their children, James Money, Jr., wife Amber of Newark, De, Erin Money of Miami, Fl.. Keith L Biddle and wife Stacy Biddle of Middletown and their children Shaina, Gavin, and Saige Biddle. Daughter in law Nancy Lee Biddle wife of the late George Biddle, Jr. and their children Brent Biddle wife Alice Biddle of Hockessin and Megan Biddle Snyder wife Kim Snyder of Massachusetts.

Thank you to the many friends and family who supported us during this past year.

A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, March 22, 204 at 11:00am to inter Rose and Kay Biddle at Townsend Cemetery. A celebration of life will take place at Tom Foolery's in Middletown, De immediately after the interment. (712 Ash Blvd, Middletown, De, 190709)
