Russell Felmlee Obituary
Mr. Felmlee proudly served in the U.S. Army during WW II in Italy and Africa with the military police. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. He was a member of Fairwinds Baptist Church for 15 years and the Hiram Masonic Lodge for 50 years. He loved tinkering with small electronics and cherished his grandchildren.
Mr. Felmlee is survived by his daughter, Joann Harvey; 3 brothers; 3 sisters; daughter-in-law, Marcella Felmlee; and 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Pauline Felmlee; son, Freddy J. Felmlee; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, October 11, 2010 in Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home from 10am-11am followed by a service in celebration of Russell's life at 11am. Burial will be in Gracelawn Memorial Park in New Castle. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Diabetes Assn., Ste. 1002, 100 W. 10th St., Wilm., DE 19801.
