William J. Dooner, on March 18, 2013, age 83, of Smyrna, DE, formerly of Broomall, Yeadon, PA and County Roscommon, Ireland.
Loving husband of 56 years to the late Dolores T. (nee Brown) Dooner. Loving father of Kevin (Linda), William (Aniela), Eileen (James) Williams, Theresa Molieri, Christopher (Liomarys) Dooner and Mary (John) Coughlin. Also survived by 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Brother of Mary Tully, Winifred McHugh and the late Michael "Sonny" and Rosaleen A. Dooner. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass Saturday 10:30 am at St. Polycarp Catholic Church, 139 Ransom Lane, Smyrna, DE 19977, where friends may call from 9 to 10:15 am Saturday at the church. Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers contributions to St. Polycarp Church.
