Stanley R. Wojciechowski

Stanley R. Wojciechowski, "WOIET" age 80, of Wilmington DE, passed away, Monday April 28, 2014 with his family by his side.

Stan graduated Salesianum High School, in 1951 and the University of DE in 1955 with a Bachelor in Science and continued studies earning his MBA in 1965. He served our country as a 1st Lieutenant of the U.S. Army Finance Corps, with an honorable discharge in 1963.

He retired in Feb. 1992 from E.I. DuPont as an International Accounting Manager.

He was an avid U of D sports booster, enjoyed golfing, fishing and coaching Naamans Little League baseball and was a member of the National Society Scabbard and Blade, Theta Chi Fraternity, Omicron Delta Kappa and The National Association of Accounts.

Stan was predeceased by his parents, Stanley & Helen (Krajweski) Wojciechowski; wife, Norma Lee (Shearer); son, Gary and brothers Henry and Francis Wojciechowski.

He is survived by his son, Gregory R., daughters, Michele Cetola and Beth (Jim) Roros; sisters, Joan (Charles) Hobson, Patricia M. Merritt, Delores (John) Erion, Phyliss (David) Lemmon and brother Edward (Diane) Wojciechowski; grandchildren, Amanda Lyne Wojciechowski, and her son Brysan; Michael A. Cetola, Jr, Constantinos & Nicholas Roros and Madison Lee Locke as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces/nephews.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 1 from 6-8 pm at the McCRERY & HARRA Funeral Home, 3924 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered the following day at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 7 Sharpley Rd., Wilmington, DE at 12:30 pm with entombment to follow Mass in All Saints Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Stan's name to the , 200 Continental Dr., Suite 101, Newark, DE 19713.
