Doris passed away peacefully on June 15, 2014 at Shipley Manor Nursing Home.

Doris was the daughter of Henry G. and Marion A. Herman. She was born on March 6, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY. She had a Bachelor of Arts degree from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs. Doris married Courtenay K. Page on Sept. 9, 1950 and moved to Delaware in 1956. She was a very active member of Church of the Ascension in Claymont for many years, including the senior warden position. She worked for Rollins Auto Leasing for 14 years and Balfour Company until she retired in 1990. She loved to read, do crossword puzzles and travel. Her beloved "second home" was Scotland.

Doris is predeceased by her husband, Courtenay, her parents and her son, Douglas Page. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Hamilton; granddaughter, Leigh Hamilton and her husband, Daniel Cannon; her sister-in-law, Elizabeth Pousson and her family; her daughter-in-law, Linda Page; her "adopted" grandson, Andrew Innes, his wife Renee and their children; and her dear friend and housemate, The Reverend Susan E. Cembalisty.

Friends and family may visit on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Church of the Ascension, 3717 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703 from 9 - 10am, where a funeral service will begin at 10am. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Doris' name may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (www.pancan.org); or Dana-Farber Cancer Institute & the Jimmy Fund (Jimmyfund.org).
