Stacy Ann Hanby, age 40, loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend died peacefully on August 19, 2014 after a courageous battle with breast cancer.

Stacy was born in 1974 in Easton, Pennsylvania and is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Hanby and family, parents James and Mary Schultz, sister, Sherry Jennings, brother-in-law Harry Jennings, two nieces and nephew, Tricia Jennings, Kathleen Jennings, and Kyle Jennings, in addition to her beloved dog Zoey, all of Middletown, Delaware.

Stacy was a 1992 graduate of Glasgow High School. In 1999, she earned a Bachelor's degree in accounting from Wilmington University followed by a Master's degree in business administration. Stacy's keen business sense and attention to detail resulted in a long and successful career at DuPont. Her co-workers had the luxury of spending many hours with Stacy enjoying her wit, charm, and no nonsense approach.

Stacy was a rare and special person with an elegant sense of style and a beautiful smile that lit up every room she entered. Stacy enjoyed a loving, beautiful relationship with her husband, Kenny and was happiest spending time at home with him and their dog Zoey.

Friends and family are left with many happy memories of love and laughter that always included a fine glass of wine. She also enjoyed many long bike rides with her girls, special West Virginia shopping trips with Bobby, and any event involving her nieces and nephew.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Stacy's life on Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm with a memorial service beginning at 2:30 pm at CHANDLER FUNERAL HOME, 2506 Concord Pike, Wilmington Delaware.
