Harvey James (Jim) Mahan, 60, of Oxford, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2010, after a brief illness.

Born in West Chester on June 12, 1950, Jim was the son of Harvey E. Mahan of Oxford and the late Margaret Buckalew Mahan. He resided in Oxford all of his life. Jim was an investment engineer with the DuPont Company for 38 years. He was an avid photographer, hiker, traveler, history buff, and an Ebay enthusiast.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Worth Mahan; sons, John H. Mahan of Clovis, NM, and David J. Mahan of Radford, VA; and daughter, Sara J. Mahan of Mt. Upton, NY.
Funeral services will be private. Interment will be in Oxford Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Neighborhood Hospice, 400 E. Marshall St., West Chester, PA 19380.
