Of Newark, DE, was taken from us tragically on Monday, December 6, 2010.
He is survived by his parents, Bruce Sr., and Linda Darlene Mutter; his biological parents, Christen Walton and Bruce Mutter, Jr., his step parents, James Stewart and Wendy White. He is also survived by his grandparents, Ruth Ann and Gary Boone. Bruce looked up to his favorite siblings, Cole and Matthew Boggs. He has five younger siblings: Nathan, Ryan, Jacob, Taylor and Shawn; a niece, Kelsee and nephew Tobias; great-grandparents, Bob and Linda Mutter, Francis Miller, Francis Mutter, Mervin and Joyce Rohrbaugh and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 10 at 12 noon, at the West Wilmington Seventh- Day Adventist Church, 3003 Millcreek Rd., Wilmington where friends may visit from 10-12 noon. Burial will be in Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle, DE followed by a fellowship meal back at the church.

I personally do not know Bruce or the family, but watched the Emergency Personnel respond to the scene, only to hear later that it was a child on his way to school. My heart ached Monday night and will continue to ache for you until you all are at peace. I lost a child almost 7 years ago, and the pain does ease, May God Bless you and keep your family in comfort and may you RIP Bruce Mutter!

I dont know the family, my 15 year old son was best friends with Bruce, they spoke on the phone every night and just that Sunday my son said Bruce was to come over on Monday so my son could teach him how to play the drums. My son Philip always spoke so highly about his friend Bruce and to see the pain in my son and to know the pain for the family, I will keep them all in my prayers. I am sad that I was cut short on the chance to meet the friend who always made my son smile.Watch after my son Bruce,you will be missed.
