Age 47, passed away suddenly on Friday, January 7, 2011.

Mike was born January 29, 1963. He was an amazing father and husband who treasured his family, especially watching his two sons play sports. Mike was always willing to lend a helping hand and had an infectious smile. Mike was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan and had a passion for the restaurant business where he worked all of his life.

He is predeceased by his mother, Judith Loretta Dugan and his father in law, Frank Masella. Mike is survived by his devoted wife, Darlene; his two sons, Michael and Ryan. He is also survived by his daughter, Heather of New Orleans; his father, Stanley Bruce Wunner and his wife,Valerie Wunner; his sisters, Michelle, Colleen and Shannon; his brothers, Chris, Brandon and Kit; his mother-in-law, Gloria Masella; his sister-in-law, Donna Masella and his brother-in-law, Frank Masella and his wife, Julie. He also leaves behind many dear friends and co-workers from TGI Fridays that he cherished.

Friends may call at the DOHERTY FUNERAL HOME, 3200 Limestone Rd., Pike Creek on Tuesday, January 11 from 5-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 12 at 11 am at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 7200 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin. Burial will be private.
