Robert L. Morgan Jr.

Robert L. Morgan Jr., age 45, of Bear, DE, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 with his family by his side.

Rob was the husband of Kristin Whitten Morgan, and the loving father of 3 children, the joys of his life. Rob and Kristin enjoyed 17 years of marriage,

Rob was raised in Milford, DE and graduated from Milford High School. He worked at Alyson's Restaurant in Wilmington, DE for many years before becoming the manager of Arner's Restaurant in New Castle. In 2005, he became the owner of Arner's Restaurant, and continued to work and manage there until he became ill last year.

Rob enjoyed fishing with his sons, spending time at the Delaware shore with his family, horseback riding, fantasy baseball & football, he also spent many hours caring for his baby--his Saleen. His greatest joy in life was spending time with Kristin and his children.

In addition to Kristin, Rob is survived by his daughter: Alyson and two sons: Patrick and Nicholas, his parents: Robert and Pegeen Morgan of Milford, DE, his sister: Tracey VanRees and her husband Dirk, of Milton, DE, his in laws and several nieces and nephews, as well as his Arners family and many friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Monday February 20, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 801 DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE. Burial will follow in the All Saints Cemetery, Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington.

Family and friends may visit on Sunday February 19 from 3 to 5 pm at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Rd., Pike Creek.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Robert to the , 900 Prides Crossing, Suite C-111, Newark, DE 19713.
