Robert Thomas Fawley " Bob "

Age 51 years, died at his home on February 24, 2012.

Bob was presently living in Avondale, PA, but he was primarily a lifelong Delaware County resident; formerly of Prospect Park and Glen Mills.

He was born in Darby, PA and raised in Prospect Park; he attended Saint Madeline's School and was a 1978 graduate of Interboro High School. Bob was the owner / operator of Fawley's Goodyear in Chadds Ford, up until 2003 and previously worked for the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. as a regional manager for the mid Atlantic region. He also held a realtor license in New Jersey. Bob was a 4th degree knight in the Knights of Columbus #913 Cardinal Dougherty Assembly at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Glen Mills, in his younger years, Bob was a firefighter for the Prospect Park Fire Company, he was a member of the Hartefeld Country Club, and he was the Vice-Commodore of the Northeast River Yacht Club.

Mr. Fawley was the son of the late Clarence "William" Fawley and the late Catharine Teresa (O'Donnell) Fawley. He is survived by his wife Donna Marie (Pandolfi) Fawley; his son Robert T. Fawley Jr. of Kennett Square, PA; also surviving are his brothers William T. Fawley and Stephen T. Fawley and his sisters Margaret A. "Penny" Jackson, Catharine A. McCutcheon and Ellen A. Fox.

Funeral Mass, Thursday, March 1, at 10 am, at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills, PA 19342. Burial is private. Visitation Wednesday from 6-8 pm and Thursday from 8:30-9:15 am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Avenue, Aston.
