William Thomas, Sr.
"Mr. T"
William B. Thomas, Sr., age 82 of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2012, surrounded by his family.
William was retired from Deamer Steel Casting Co. and Corrado American. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Mr. Thomas was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Anna Thomas; brothers, Edward and Leslie; and sisters, Frances Klase and Nancy Thomas. He is survived by his wife, Lucy; children, William Jr. (Jackie), Christine Marenco (Michael), Lee (Lorie), Lisa Fincher (Tom); brother, Robert; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and his pet bird, Desi.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Hwy in New Castle, on Saturday morning, November 17 at 11am. Burial will follow in the adjoining memorial park. Visitation will be held in the chapel on Saturday morning, prior to service, from 10-11am.
