Sam: When I first joined the Historical Society, and sat in at those meetings, you and that whole room full of people taught me what it takes to make a community. You seemed to have your hand in everything good that was being done in the community. That was a great lesson to me - events like the parade, the historic signs in the community, Colonial Day - happen because community minded people like you conceived them and then made them happen through your energy and creativity and hard work. You have made a lasting impression on the world that you lived in and the people you touched. May you now rest in well earned peace.
