Frank E. Bringhurst, Sr., age 77 Frank E. Bringhurst, Sr., age 77, from East Lansdowne, peacefully passed away on December 2, 2013. Frank retired from SEPTA as bus driver and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family. Frank is predeceased by his wife of 26 years Edna Bringhurst. Survivors: His children, Frank, William "Billy", Kimberly and Kaitlin Bringhurst. Grandchildren, Gordon, Nicholas, Vincent, Billy, and Joey and 1 great grandchild, Gia. Also surviving is longtime friend, Linda Scott. Services: Visitation Saturday, 1:00 to 2:30 p.m., at the Cavanagh Family Funeral Home, 301 Chester Pike, Norwood, Pa, followed by his funeral service at 2:30 p.m. Burial: Private, preceded by Cremation with Confidence at Cavanagh's

i worked with Frank in the late 80's while at SEPTA and he was truly a great man who will be sadly missed but always remembered.
