What a true gent! He excelled at running the sheriff's office and was always happy to make time for a friend. Talk about a life well lived! After being wounded in Korea he always felt like the luckiest guy in the world to come home, and lived life to the fullest.

The world has lost a true Gentlemen. Chief Kelly always greeted people with a sincere hand shake, He would ask how you are, then ask if there was anything he could do for you. Such a simple lost art
In social behavior. That in which made him a special man !

I found a photo that I think you all would enjoy. This is from the 1970's, perhaps when we went up to Easton, Maryland to the Waterfowl Festival. Our hearts are broken for your family. But we have some great memories of some wonderful times from years gone by.
