Hartney, Carol Ann* - Ocean View  
Carol Ann Hartney, age 73, of Hockessin and Ocean View, DE passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on May 21, 2016 at Beebe Healthcare with her loving family at her side. Carol was born and raised in South Philly, PA. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Josephine (DiSabato) Scarpato. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by children, Donna Marie and Brian Joseph. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Joseph Hartney; a daughter, Debra Ann Hartney of Bethany Beach, DE; a cousin, Kathy Yanni and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Carol’s Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes, DE. Hastie, Susan Elizabeth* - Aston  
1979-2016 Susan Elizabeth Hastie, age 36, a lifetime resident of Aston, PA, died peacefully Friday, May 20, 2016 at home, surrounded by her loving family. Susan graduated Valedictorian from the American Christian School in 1998, and then graduated Summa Cum Laude from Widener University, Class of 2002, with a BA in English. Susan taught Math, English, Drama and tutored at the American Christian School and Concord Christian Academy, for 11 years. She attended Grace Bible Fellowship Church, Wallingford, PA. Granddaughter of the late Paul E. Hastie, Frank H. Evans and Elaine U. Evans. Survivors: Devoted Parents: Paul M. and Brenda R. Evans Hastie, Brother: Andrew Thomas Hastie, Sister: Deborah Ruth Hastie, Paternal Grandmother: Elizabeth Abel Hastie. Memorial Service: Saturday, May 28, at 11:00AM at Grace Bible Fellowship Church, 723 S. Providence Rd, Wallingford, PA 19086, where a reception will follow. Interment: Private. Holobowicz, Harry A.* - Aston  
Harry A. Holobowicz, age 81, died on May 18, 2016 at his home in Aston surrounded by his loving family. He was raised and educated in Eddystone and was a longtime resident of Aston. Harry was retired from Scott Paper Co. and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was an active parishioner of St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church in Chester. Harry was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved flowers. He was an avid card player, especially pinochle and poker. SURVIVORS: His loving wife: Ruth Holobowicz; 2 children: Carol Holobowicz Grzybacz (Jerzy) and Victor Holobowicz; 3 grandchildren: Mitchell Holobowicz, Lidia and Daria Holobowicz Grzybacz. VISITATION: Friday from 9:00-9:45 am at St. Hedwig’s Church, 4th & Hayes Streets, Chester, PA. FUNERAL MASS: Friday at 10:00 am at St. Hedwig’s Church. BURIAL: Mount Hope Cemetery, Aston.
