Wade, Maureen M.*  
1915-2014 Maureen M. Wade Maureen M. Wade, age 99 years, a long-time resident of Media, PA, on November 13, 2014 at Chester Crozer Medical Center. Ms. Wade graduated from Media High School class of 1933. She lived on Church St. in Media for most of her life and was active in Nativity BVM Parish. Maureen was an executive secretary for many years at Merck, formerly Sharpe and Dohme. She also worked at Warner-Lambert Pharmaceutical Company. Maureen loved art and classical music, but her main interest was keeping in touch with her large extended family including those all over the US and Ireland. Maureen lived to be 99 1/2 and truly enjoyed her life until her very brief final illness. She loved God, family and the simple pleasures in life - in that order. She was kind and polite to everyone - a true lady in every way. Maureen was preceded in death by her beloved parents, John and Mary Wade (nee Curtin); dearly loved brothers, John P., Peter, and William Wade; and dear nephews, John and Joseph Wade. Survived by Nephews: Peter, William, Philip, Martin and John P. Wade. Nieces: Dorothy Meluskey, Maureen Weaver, Margaret Owsik. Cousin: Margaret Costello. Service: Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Friday November 21, 2014 at Nativity BVM Church, Franklin and Monroe Sts., Media, Pa. Wenger, Thomas J.*  
1941-2014 Thomas J. Wenger, age 73 Thomas J. Wenger, age 73, of Upper Chichester, PA died on November 19, 2014. Born and raised in Media, PA, he resided the past 47 years in Upper Chichester, PA. An Army Reservist, he received his Bachelors Degree in business from Neumann College. A Mechanical Engineer by trade, he was employed by various companies including Clifton Precision, RCA in Morristown, Dupont, United Engineering & Construction, and Mountain Top. He was involved in many activities in Chichester such as Chichester Senior's Advisory Council, Commissioner and Police Commissioner, the Zoning and Hearing Board, the Delaware County Sewer Authority where he served as vice president and he also belonged to the Knights of Columbus. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Alice McCarty Wenger. Thomas is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Elizabeth "Betty" Wenger (nee) Vail, children, Carol (Brian) Snyder, Thomas (Michelle) Wenger Jr., Diane (Joseph) Wheeler and David Wenger, 6 grandchildren, Brian, Michael, Kayla, Madison, Tommy and Joey. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Sunday evening, 6:00-9:00p.m. and also Monday, 9:00-9:45a.m. at the Moreland-Pagano Funeral Home, 825 Main St, Trainer, PA. Witt, John Rowan*  
1936 - 2014 John Rowan Witt John Rowan (Jack) Witt, 78, of Kingwood, Texas, passed away on October 27, 2014. He was born on May 23, 1936 in Spring City, Pa. He was raised in Ridley Park, Pa. and graduated from St. James High School and Villanova University. He served in the United States Navy and was a long time employee as an Electrical Engineer for Scott Paper. He was an avid cook, dog lover, and very active in the Newfoundlands Club of America and the Great Pyrenees Club of America. Survivors: He is survived by his wife, Anita Witt; his daughter and son-in-law, Maria and Richard Boyce; granddaughter, Erica Wells; brothers and sisters-in-law Dave and Dee Witt of DE, Donald and Patricia Witt of PA; sisters and brothers-in-law Jean and Tim Moyer of PA, Rene and Lou Cataline of TX; brothers-in-law John and Linda Hess of N.H., Bill Cassidy of N.J., and sister-in-law Mary Isabel Witt of PA. Preceding him in death are his parents, John and Mary Witt, sisters and brothers Patricia, Gerald, Judith, Margaret, and Mary Lou. Memorial Mass: Will be celebrated on Saturday, November 22nd, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 430 Valleybrook Road, in Glen Mills, Pa. 19342. Visitation: Will be on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Burial: Will be in the church cemetery following the Mass. 1954-2014 Frank W. Woolston Frank W. Woolston, 60, of Oxford, PA, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014. Frank was born 7/20/1954. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Frank was an amazing man, and one of a kind. He was a protector and a most loyal friend. Frank had worked as a Merchant Marine engine man, for Atlantic Richfield, he went on to be a successful self-employed carpenter/contractor and later an amateur farmer which he so enjoyed. He had a love of the outdoors, deep sea fishing, gardening, and the Phillies. A man with many interests and talents that he loved to share. Rosina DiMarcantonio Woolston, wife and soul mates for over 45 year, daughter, Alyson Woolston Jenkins, son in law Josh Jenkins, two beautiful grandchildren, Gavin Paul and Lucy Clare Jenkins, son Frank Paul Woolston , and his four legged shadow Jeb. 1923-2014 Edith A. "Betty" Wressig (nee Hand), 91 Edith A. "Betty" Wressig (nee Hand), 91, longtime resident of Collingdale died on November 16, 2014 at Simpson House in Philadelphia. Betty was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, travelling and especially loved the snow. Betty was the wife of the late George A. Wressig. She was born in Williamstown, PA to the late Harry & Bessie Hand and was also predeceased by her brother Charles "Leroy" Hand, Jake Hand; sister Elva Callahan and granddaughter Amy Lynn Bonner. Survivors: Loving mother of George (Nancy) Wressig and loving mom and best friend of Betty Jane (Frank) Bonner.
