Bardsley, Barbara M.* - Upper Chichester  
1945-2015 Barbara M. “Bub” Bardsley, age 69, of Upper Chichester, PA died on March 1, 2015. Born in Chester, PA, she was raised in Woodlyn and Boothwyn, PA. Barbara graduated from Chichester High School, class of 1963, and afterwards attended Goldey Beacom college. She was employed by Widener University for many years. An avid bowler, she served as secretary of the Women’s Bowling Association and she was also the President of the Delaware State Bowling Association. She was later inducted into the Hall of Fame for both of the aforementioned associations for Meritorious service. She will be sadly missed by the entire bowling association. Barbara is preceded in death by her father, Stoddard Bardsley and her mother and stepfather, Barbara and Dominic Aquino. She is survived by her brother, Bob Bardsley and his wife, Sharon, nephew, Ryan Bardsley and her niece and her family, Robyn Coupe and husband, Robert and their children, Bobby, Catie, and Declan. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, 11:00AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA where friends may call from 10-11AM. Interment, Edgewood Memorial Park. Barrett Sr., Thomas J.* - Collingdale  
1941-2015 Thomas J. Barrett Sr. age 73, of Collingdale passed away suddenly on February 28, 2015. Beloved husband of Corinne (nee DiIanni); dear father of Francis J. Barrett (Cathleen), Victoria Stackhouse (Steven) and the late Thomas J. Jr.; brother of Linda Bove and the late Edward Barrett. Also survived by four grandchildren Riley, Camille, Brett, and Courtney his sister in law Victoria Toth (James) and many beloved nieces and nephews. Mr. Barrett owned Barrett Trucking, he most recently enjoyed being a crossing guard in Collingdale. He was a huge Philadelphia Phillies and Penn State Football fan. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Friday from 9:30 a.m. till 10:45 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church Woodlawn Ave., Collingdale; followed by his funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. Int. SS Peter and Paul Cemetery. Batty, Alma May* - Ridley Park  
1936-2015 Alma May “Ella May” Naylor Batty 79 of Ridley Park, died peacefully on February 21, 2015 at Taylor Hospice Residence. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Alma May Chandler Naylor and raised by her Nanny and Poppy Chandler. Ella May was a homemaker and a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. She enjoyed music, singing, dancing and loved her summers at the shore!! She was affectionate, with a laugh that was as big as life, and always young at heart. She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Richard Lloyd Batty; daughters Shirley Bright and Deborah Colyer (Gary); five grandchildren; three sisters; three brothers and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service 7:00p.m. Thursday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where friends may call after 6:00p.m. Burial private. Belden, Theresa M.* - Ridley Twonship  
1917-2015 Theresa M. Belden (Guarente) 97 of Ridley Township died February 26, 2015 at The Wallingford Nursing Home. Born in Woodlyn, she has lived at her late residence for the past 65 years. Theresa was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church and was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved gardening, cooking and crocheting. She was wife of the late Edward F. Belden, her husband of 58 years, who died in 2007; daughter of the late Joseph and Pauline Mastrogacomo Guarente and sister of the late Joseph and Albert Guarente and Rose and Mary Pulcinella. Theresa is survived by her daughter Kathleen Stout (Leon); grandsons Michael (Lauren) and Jimmy; great granddaughters Emma and Lea; her sister Alvera Crocetto; also numerous nieces and nephews. 1971-2015 Jason R. Benson, 43, passed away on February 20th. Jason was born in Chester, PA, to Barbara (Wojciehowski) Benson and late Robert Duane Benson. Benton, Denise M.* - Springfield  
1955-2015 Denise M. Benton (nee Callahan) a homemaker of Springfield, formerly of Glenolden died March 1, 2015 at the age of 59. She was a graduate of Our Lady of Fatima and Holy Child Academy, Sharon Hill. She is survived by her husband Frank H. Benton, her children Francis Benton and Kimberly Benton. She is the daughter of Mary (nee Rizzo) and the late Richard Callahan and the sister of Mary Larkin, Richard Callahan, Charles Callahan, Michael Callahan, Susan Oakley, Colleen Weinlein and John Callahan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Wednesday evening 6-9pm and Thursday morning 9- 10:15am at the Ruffenach Funeral Home, 4900 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, Pa. 19026. Her Funeral Mass will be Thursday 11am at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Interment St. Denis Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Denise’s memory may be made to the Charity of donors choice.
