Denny, William M.* - Media  
1958-2015 William M. Denny of Media passed away on July 28, 2015 at the age of 57. William was the loving son of the late Robert and Mildred Denny. He was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan but also loved all Philadelphia sports. Beloved husband of Patricia A. Denny, devoted father of Christopher Denny (Nickey), Keisha Hines (Jeff), Andrea Denny, Hope Durnell (Jason), Faith Wallace (David), Eric Case (Katie), and Luke Case (Kelly). Also survived by 19 ½ grandchildren and 9 great- grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service on Saturday 2:00 pm at the Cavanagh-Patterson Family Funeral Home, 43 E. Baltimore Ave., Media, PA 19063. Interment Private.

Dougherty, Francis E.* - Clifton Heights  
1945-2015 Francis E. Dougherty of Clifton Heights passed away on July 29, 2015 at the age of 70. He was the son of the late Joseph and Florence (nee Parkhill) Dougherty. Frank was the owner of Frank Dougherty Construction, LLC for over 50 years. He enjoyed playing pool, dancing and spending time with family and friends. In addition to his parents Frank was predeceased by his son Francis Dougherty, Jr. and his siblings Joseph Dougherty and Florence Sandy. Survivors Loving brother of Paul Dougherty of Sunbury, PA, Patricia Stegemerten (Tom) of Newtown Square and Kathy Simpson (Butch) of Philadelphia. Also survived by his Sister-in-law Patricia Dougherty of Collingdale, Brother-in-law Robert Sandy of Chester and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling period on Tuesday from 11:00am to the start of his funeral service at 12:00pm at the Cavanagh Family Funeral Home, 301 Chester Pike, Norwood. Downey, Anne M.* - Drexel Hill  
1921-2015 Anne M. Downey, 93 of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on July 28, 2015 at St. Francis Center. Anne was born in Philadelphia, PA. She was a graduate of Most Blessed Sacrament grade school and West Catholic High School for Girls. Anne was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Church since the 1950’s. Anne was an Avon Lady for 20 years and a Homemaker. She enjoyed summers in the Poconos from 1976-2007. She enjoyed bowling and spending time with her grandchildren. Anne was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas J. Downey, Sr. and son, Thomas J. Downey, Jr. Anne is survived by her daughter, Marianne Downey and four sons William E. (Maria), John M. (Barbara), Dennis J. and James C. (Rose) Downey. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren. Funeral Mass: Saturday, August 1, 2015 10:30am St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 3500 School Lane, Drexel Hill, PA 19026. Viewing: Saturday after 9:30am in the Church. Burial: Holy Cross Cemetery.

Downs, Maurice C.* - Chester  
1940 - 2015 Maurice C. Downs, age 74, of Aston died July 23, 2015 at Taylor Hospice Residence in Ridley Park. Maurice was born and raised in Chester and received his Business Degree from Widner University. He retired as a Pricing Manager for Sun Oil after more than 40 years of employment. Maurice was a member of Wayne United Methodist Church, served in the US Army, enjoyed fishing, boating and family vacations in Ocean City, NJ. He loved and adored his wife of 51 years, Janis and cherished time spent with his grandchildren. He was the son of the late Maurice and the late Elizabeth (Stutz) Downs. SURVIVORS:His wife: Janis(Gallagher) Downs; Daughters: Sherri Hollick (Michael) and Deborah Sears (Michael); Grandchildren: Connor, Nathan, Maddi and Ben; Siblings: Donald Downs (Joan) and Linda Delia (Joe). VISITATION: Wednesday from 9:30 - 11:15 am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home Ltd., 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston, PA.
