Alfonso D. D'Errico

Decorated World War II veteran
Alfonso D. D'Errico, age 88, died February 22, 2013 at his home in Prospect Park. He has resided in Prospect Park for the last 25 years and was retired from the Sun Oil Co. Alfonso was a decorated World War II veteran who served as a paratrooper in the U.S. Army; he received numerous medals including a purple heart and many bronze stars. Alfonso was a member of the American Legion.
He was the husband of the late Jean (Heller) D'Errico.
SURVIVORS: Children: Violet Menarde (Dan), Chris Hilaman (John), Tony Fasano (Karen), Tracy Fasano, and Michael Fasano. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral Liturgy: Wednesday at 10:30 am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, Ltd., 2316 Providence Ave., Chester BURIAL: Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood.
