David A. Titerence Sr.

David A. Titerence, Sr. Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather David A. Titerence, Sr., age 55, died in the arms of his loving wife on Friday, March 15, 2013 at the Crozer - Keystone Hospice Residence at Taylor Hospital in Ridley Park. Dave was a lifelong resident of Eddystone. Born in Chester, raised and educated in Eddystone, he had graduated from Ridley High School in their Class of 1975. He was longtime employee at Congoleum, and was presently employed as a bus driver for the Ridley School District. Dave was a member of the Teamsters Local # 312, he enjoyed taking cruises, loved surf fishing, motorcycle riding and playing softball as well as spending time with his family and friends. He was the son of James Titerence and the late Eileen (nee Martz) Titerence. Survivors: his loving and devoted wife Maureen L. (nee VanDevelde) Elliott, his sons David A. Titerence, Jr. of East Lansdowne and Aaron J. Titerence of Berlin, MD, his father James Titerence of Eddystone - his step sons Kyle Elliott and Alex Elliott, both of Aston; also surviving are his granddaughter Gianna Titerence of Folsom, his brothers James Titerence of Claymont, DE and William Taylor of Cochranville as well as his sister Donna Marks of Bear, DE. Visitation: Thursday, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm., and Friday, from 10:00 to 11:00 am., at the Nolan - Fidale Funeral Home, Ltd., 5980 Chichester Avenue in Aston. Funeral Service: Friday, 11:00 am., at the Funeral Home. Burial: Philadelphia Memorial Park in Frazer.
