Edward A. Wehe III

Edward A. Wehe, III Marcus Hook Police officer, Delaware County Park officer, and Decorated US Navy veteran Edward A. Wehe, III, age 57, a Delaware County Park officer and Marcus Hook Borough Police officer died suddenly on November 5, 2013 while in the line of duty. Ed was a graduate of Chichester High School and a longtime resident of Aston. He was a current resident of Marcus Hook. Ed was a Chief Petty officer who served on the USS Constellation CV-64 with the United States Navy before his retirement after 21 years. Ed was a member of FOP Lodge #27, American Legion Post #926, and the Concord Masonic Lodge #625 F&AM. He was a parishioner of St. Mary Magdalen Church in Media and his hobbies included fishing and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was the son of the late Edward and Amy (Laird) Wehe, and father of the late Edward A. Wehe IV who died in 2006. Survivors: His daughter: Ann Marie Wehe, his fiance, Marie Molesky, a beloved granddaughter, MacKenzie, 4 brothers: Thomas Wehe, Joseph Costa, Daniel Costa, and Michael Costa (Melisa), former wife, Mary Ann (Tiberi) Wehe, his Godson, Anthony and 4 nephews: Joseph, Zachary, Daniel and Michael, a niece, Barbie and a great niece, Katie. Visitation & Masonic Service: Monday, from 5:00-8:00p.m., with a Masonic Service at 8:00p.m. and Tuesday, from 8-9:45a.m., at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA Funeral Mass: Tuesday, 11:00 a.m., at St. Mary Magdalen Parish, 2400 N. Providence Rd., Media. Burial: Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood. In lieu of flowers: Donations may be made to the MacKenzie Helferty-Wehe Educational Fund c/o Sun East Federal Credit Union.
