John P. Gallagher

John "Jack" P. Gallagher, 80 John "Jack" Gallagher, of Ridley Park, passed away at his home on August 20, 2014. Beloved son of the late Jesse (nee Watson) and Philip Gallagher, Jack was born in Philadelphia and attended West Catholic High School for Boys. Jack was a Korean War Vet who served in the Air Force. He was a lifetime bartender in the Delaware County area working at the Shack and Cranes and has worked the last 25 years behind the bar at Lehman's Tavern. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved his family. His passions were playing golf and cheering on the Eagles and Phillies. Survivors: He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Jean (nee Patterson) Gallagher, his daughters Jackie Gallagher (Greg Hepfer), Katie Valerio (Vito), Kimberly Laslett, and Jeanette O'Dell (Greg), his grandchildren, Kelli, Megan (O'Dell), Mia, Vincent, and Luke (Valerio). He is also survived by his brother Walter Gallagher and sister Mary Coloracci. Predeceased by brothers Philip and Charles Gallagher and sister Josephine Carr.
