Joseph Gavin Daniels, age 75, died March 8, 2013.
Joseph was raised and a longtime resident of Eddystone. He a 1955 graduate of St. James High School. He worked for The Scott Paper Company for several years before owning and operating Upland Auto Parts for 30 years. Joe also owned and operated the Meeting House Tavern and Restaurant and Chester County Auto Parts.
Joe served in the United Stated Navy and was a member of the American Legion Post 926 in Aston. He was a longtime Dallas Cowboys fan, and Philadelphia Phillies and Flyers fan. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He was the son of the late Patrick and Annie Gavin Daniels.
Survivors: His loving wife of 47 years, Joanne Pretti Daniels; his children, Joseph, Michael (Denise), Bob (Lisa) Daniels, and Sherri Richardson (Bob); his brothers, Ted and Jim Daniels; and sister Kathleen O'Rourke; eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. He will be missed by his loyal dog Dallas.
Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home Ltd., 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston
Burial: Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood.
Visitation: From 9-10: 45 a.m. Wednesday from 9:00-10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.
