Joseph H. Zaccarelli

Joseph H. Zaccarelli Joseph H. Zaccarelli, 89, died on July 24, 2013 at his home. A resident of Springfield. Mr. Zaccarelli was born in Morstein, PA to the late Dominic and Rose Zaccarelli and was a Marine WWII veteran who fought at Iwo Jima. Joe worked as a Funeral Director at the M.F. Williams Funeral Home in Clifton Heights and was a Casket Salesman for the National Casket Co., Boyertown Casket Co. and the Atlas Casket Co. in Philadelphia retiring in 2004. Mr. Zaccarelli was a member of Holy Cross Church in Springfield where he was a lector, chaperoned at the Holy Cross dances and volunteered to drive the school bus. He was a 4th Degree Knight at the DeLaSale Council 590 Knights of Columbus in Springfield where he also was a charter member of their golf league. He was a devoted family man who loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors: His wife of 60 years, Dolores Carr Zaccarelli. Children, Joseph S. (Gail) Zaccarelli of Springfield, Carol Small of Ridley Twp. and Joanne (Patrick) Reilly of Harleysville. Grandchildren, Jimmy and Brian Small, Michael MacDonald, Nicole, Melissa and Joseph Zaccarelli, Gina Marie and Patrick Reilly. Also survived by 6 Great Grandchildren and many nieces, nephews. Funeral Mass: Will be held Monday, 10:30 AM, at Holy Cross Church, Bishop and Springfield Rds., Springfield. Visitation: will be Sunday, 7 - 9 PM and Monday, 9:00 AM, at the Williams Lombardo Funeral Home, 33 W. Baltimore Ave., Clifton Heights. Interment: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
