Peter J. Ciliberto, 86 Of Ridley Twp., Milmont Park, PA Peter J. Ciliberto, 86, died Friday December 7, 2012 in the Crozer-Keystone Hospice, Ridley Park, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Domenic and the late Antoinette (Rocco) Ciliberto. Peter was raised in Delaware County, moving to South Philadelphia at the age of 13. He graduated in 1943 from South Philadelphia High School. He served during World War II in the Army, where he fought at the Battle of the Bulge and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He graduated in 1951 from the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Sciences, where he was a member of Delta Kappa Phi. He retired in 1994 after 42 years as a Textile Engineer, employed by Huntingdon Yarn Mills, Port Richmond, PA. Peter was a member of Our Lady of Peace Church, Milmont Park and a member of Knights of Columbus Peace Council 4518. He was a former ambulance driver with the Milmont Fire Co. He was an avid gardener and sportsman. He also enjoyed working on cars, as well as his home. Peter was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Pre-deceased by his wife, Josephine M. (nee Settembrino) Ciliberto. Survivors: 2 daughters Antonia (Richard) Turner of Norwood, PA and Clare (Robert) O'Donnell of Ridley Park, PA; 1 son Dominic ( Joanne) Ciliberto of Danbury, CT; 5 granddaughters Michelle (Jesse) Swartz, Christine Turner, Maureen O'Donnell, Elizabeth O'Donnell and Gina Ciliberto; his grandson Nicholas Ciliberto; many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass Saturday at 11 AM at Our Lady Of Peace Church, Milmont Ave., Milmont Park. Calling: Friends may call Saturday 9 to 10:45 AM at Our Lady Of Peace Church.
