From Frank Willkie.
Member of St Paul's Episcopal Church in St Paul, MN,
yes, there is connected with St Paul's Episcopal their in Chester.

I had the pressure going to the warmly welcome Mass their and met a friend of the late Bill's!

One could not go anywhere in Chester and not run into a person or a group of people knowing or whom was the late Bill Dandridge!

I also had the Initiative favor by letting a few other people aware of Bill passing, therefore, an old friend of Nanny Ruth.

Blessings and prayers to and for my family. There is so much to tell about what Bill has done over the past 50+ years, more than half of a century for the people of Chester. Let me just bring back some memories for you. The cultural Center in the BH, The Penn Cultural Center on 7th Street, The Bannanker House Center on Concord, The Project House on 3rd & Tilghman, The Explorers Club,The Opera" Madame Butterfly",The Play "Pearlie is Victorious" The radio station in the Penn Cultural Center, The trips to Harlem, Washington, D.C., The Amish Camp, Crystal Caves,Onyx Cave, Broadway Shows, Youth Couseling,Africa, Art classes, Libraries in the Centers, Leadership Classes. He book paid poetry shows and readings for me and allowed others to showcase various talents. Unfortuantely, I never joined him in his countless invitations to the Motherland. However, maybe I will be able to cultivate the 50 acres of land in Africa that he gave to me as a wedding gift.

Thank you William Dandridge Jr.!

With my deepest sympathy, and a heavy heart.
I was first introduced to William Dandridge in my teenage years.
Not knowing that this would be the start of a lifelong friendship.
I was a young bass guitar player, trying to make his mark in the world.
Mr. William Dandridge, was in charge of the penn culture center at that time.
He gave me the confidence, and a chance to pursue my dreams. 12 or 13 years later
When I return to Chester, I found that Bill was heading up the new Dandridge of art gallery.
After a small meet and greet,
Bill immediately put me in charge of the music and theatrics department.
We created the band, that William Dandridge named, "Reminiscence."
Mr. William Dandridge Jr. Thank you so much, for the time you contribute to my life.

Our sympathy and prayers are with the Dandridge family at this time. From our early years, Bill has been an mentor not only to us, but many others. When I was a young 18 year old young lady, I worked with him at my first job at Ruth Bennett Homes in the Tenant Relations Department with Executive Director Michael Capuzzi. My husband received his first art instructions from him at an early age also.

We have lost a great man and he will surely be missed.

William (Bill) Dandridge was certainly of great influence in my life. As a cousin who was in-tune to our African Heritage as a mentor and teacher. He gave me the wings that allowed me to fly. As a first employer, he instilled in me great work ethic. I worked as his secretary from age 14 to 18. He took me to city council meetings, prison board meetings, and government grant meetings to name a few. He exposed me to our culture in addition to the culture of the fine arts. I am forever grateful to you cousin! I know you are up there painting pictures of heaven. Rest in Peace Bill, job well done! You have positively affected the lives of countless people.
