I just learned tonight of Marks passing after a visit to Springfield Ice Rink and seeing the memorial award in his name. I lost touch with Mark and was not aware of this. I'm floored. Mark was always a good friend to me even though through the years we didn't always see eye to eye on the ice. I coached at THL for a number of years and got to know him and his dad through there. My family and I are so saddened to hear this news. He was a great young man that did whatever he could for his family and friends. May he rest in peace.

Wow i cant believe its been 2 yrs already! You missed so much. Autumn is 8 now and growing up to be a great little lady. She still loves cars like you. We talk about you constantly and know you are watching down on her. Even though i dont get to see molly i know she is growing to be a beautiful little girl! The girls get to see each other and do things together as i know you would want. I cant express how sad we are that you are not here, but you are in are hearts and prayers always. Just know that you gave me the most precious gift i could ever have and for that i love you. Its hard to see a friend leave so young but now you are resting in peace. Always love you

I cannot believe another Christmas with out you!! Wish you were here to see Autumn getting so big and she is so smart. Again she is in the art show!! My how the time flies. I know your looking over her right now as shes asleep in her bed. She never forgets you or things you two did or even things you used to say. My wife and I are very saddened to find out that Mark passed away. We did not find out till 3/26/2013. Mark was one of my sons first friend at ET Richardson. I can still see Brian and Mark hanging out after school, Birthday Parties, and wrestling. He will be dearly missed, but not forgotten. May god be with John, Brenda,his children, and their families through these times of mourning

There is no pain more far-reaching and deeper than losing a child. My heart and prayers go out to my wife Brenda at this most difficult time. I want her to know that my love and thoughts are with her during this difficult time.
Mark would always give of himself without hesitation, even when he knew that there was no benefit to him in doing so. He was always full of energy and he would always be there for his friends and family. It's just seems unreal to think that he's gone. I really miss him and I'll always cherish the days I spent with him.
I want everyone to know that I will be there for my wife Brenda. I will be there for her to help her through this difficult time. I love her more and more each day and will love her forever. God does not test people who do not have the courage to pass the test. It is important to remember Mark as we knew him, keep the faith and move on with our life.
