1960-2014 David Douglass Cassar, age 54 David Douglass Cassar, age 54, of Marcus Hook, PA, formerly of Thornton, PA died suddenly on December 25, 2014 at home. A graduate of Garnet Valley High School, class of 1978, he was employed by Shot Blast, Inc. in Marcus Hook, PA. Dave was known for his exceptional skill and creativity in the mechanical field. He shared this gift in his work and with friends and family. Dave generously helped people in the community. He was an avid NASCAR fan and attended many events. He is survived by his parents, Richard and Ann Weik Cassar, brothers, Thomas E. and James R. Cassar and nieces, Rachel, Grace and Chelsea Cassar. Funeral services will be on Saturday, 11:00a.m. at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA where friends may call from 9:30-11:00a.m. Interment, Brandywine Baptist Church Cemetery, Chadds Ford, PA.
