George W. Schreiber Sr.

George W. Schreiber, Sr. George W. Schreiber, Sr., of Broomall, PA passed away on June 25, 2013 at his home. Born in 1929 in Philadelphia, George was the son of Catherine Felmey and George Schreiber, both deceased. He served honorably in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a Golden Glove Boxer, an avid fisherman and enjoyed watching old western movies. He was a member of the Anglers Club of Absecon, NJ and a 4th Degree Sir Knight of the Knights of Columbus of Springfield, PA. George was the beloved husband of the late Mildred A. (Fuessinger) Schreiber. Survivors: Loving father of George W. Schreiber, Jr. (Diane Eaton) of Upper Darby, Debbie Collings (Rick) of Broomall, Stephen E. Schreiber (Bonnie) of Broomall and Mildred A. Blomgren (Roger) of Boothwyn; dear grandfather of Ashley, Ricky, Roger, Rachel and Karin. Also survived by great-grandchildren. Viewing/Funeral Mass: Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Friday, 10:00-11:00 AM and to his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM, at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA.
