Thomas Cummings Sr. Obituary
Tom was born in Philadelphia, PA on January 6, 1928, a son to the late Elizabeth (McNamee) and William Thomas Cummings.
He graduated from St. Thomas More High School. Tom retired from the US Postal Service where he was a manager.
He proudly served in the Navy/Sea Bees and was a Veteran of WWII. He was a member of the Southwest St. Patrick's Club, Knight of Columbus and the Elks Club in North Wildwood. Tom was an avid sports fan.
He loved watching his grandsons play in their sporting events, and enjoyed watching the Phillies in Clearwater, Florida. Tom loved the shores in Cape May and North Wildwood where he spent all of his later summers.
Tom was predeceased by his brother, William and sister, Betty Ann (Micenhamer).
Survivors: Husband of Anna May (nee McCloskey). Father of Greg (Karen) and Tom Cummings. Also survived by his loving grandsons, Sean, Ryan and Nolan.
Viewing: Relatives and friends are invited to attend Monday, July 1, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Donohue's Funeral Home 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA and Tuesday morning, July 2, 2013 from 9:30–10:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manoa Road, Havertown, PA.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated July 2, 2013 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m.
Interment: St. Peter & Paul Cemetery
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Tom's memory to St. Thomas More Alumni Assn., PO Box 294, Drexel Hill, PA 19026.

So very sorry to hear that Lefty has passed. I have such great memories of all of you especially the Sunday dinners in Wynnefield. He was a great guy! Hugs and prayers to you all!
