Adam Robert Cisterino Obituary
Adam Robert Cisterino, 27 United States Army Veteran Adam Robert Cisterino, 27, of Swedesboro, New Jersey and Springfield, Pa passed away suddenly on Saturday December 14, 2013 with his family by his side. Adam was born in Upland, Pa on February 18, 1986. He attended Walter Hill Grade School and graduated in 2004 from Kingsway Regional High School in Swedesboro, New Jersey. On January 22, 2005 Adam enlisted in the United States Army serving an 18 month Tour in Iraq and an 18 month tour of duty in Afghanistan, as a infantry soldier. After the Afghanistan tour he returned to his duty station, Fort Hood, Texas where he spent 14 months in the wounded warrior unit until his Honorable Medical Discharge. Adam enjoyed Philadelphia Sports Teams especially attending the Flyers home games. His smile could light up any room. He brought laughter to everyone who knew him. Along with his smile and light hearted nature, he will be remembered for his generosity and kind heart. Survivors: A Son, Ethan Cisterino, Hutto, Texas. Mother- Jeannette Rushton Cisterino, Brookhaven, Pa. Father - Nicholas J. Cisterino, Swedesboro, New Jersey; Sisters - Lieutenant Justine Cisterino, United States Navy, Bremerton, Washington, Nicole Cisterino, Swedesboro, New Jersey; Maternal Grandparents- Bob and Dotty Rushton, Springfield, Pa; Paternal Grandparents- Jim and Jackie Cisterino, Rossford, Ohio (Ethan 's Mother) Mariana Leal, Hutto, Texas. Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Services: Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation 9:30 a .m. -11:00 a.m., Friday, December 20, 2013, and his funeral Mass -11:00 a.m., followed by an Honor Guard Ceremony, St. Kevin's Church, 200 W. Sproul Road, Springfield, Pa . 19064 Burial: Private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers: Memorial contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project in Adam's name would be appreciated.
