Obituary Condolences

Anna C. (nee Cicilioni) DeRose, 95 Of Riddle Village, formerly of Springfield Anna C. (nee Cicilioni) DeRose, passed away on December 2, 2012, age 95. She was a 1934 graduate of the Blakely High School (Peckville, PA). Anna was employed as a secretary first at the Social Security Board in Baltimore, MD for 10 years, then to the Swarthmore College for 16 years, and then worked as a Administrative Assistant / Public Coordinator, for the Division of Chemistry Education for the American Chemical Society for 19 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Springfield, where she served as Deacon, Nursery School Teacher and played the piano. She married James V. DeRose in October of 1941 and he passed away on November 29, 2003. Also predeceased by her brother Louis Cicilioni Survivors: She was the devoted mother of James M. (Donna), Jeanne D. (Guy) Richards, and William R. (Barbara), also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; her sister Clara DeRose; many nieces and nephews. Service: Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Service on Friday at 11 AM in the First Presbyterian Church of Springfield, Summit & Cascade Rds., Springfield, PA 19064. Calling in church 10 AM. Memorial gifts may be sent in her name to the Memorial Fund at the above named Church. Interment private. Arr: Frank C. Videon Funeral Home, Broomall.
